17 July 2006: The new image of "La Mancha" Denominación de Origen wines was presented at Mercamadrid

On 26 June 2006, at 11:00 a.m., the new corporate image of "La Mancha" Denominación de Origen (D.O.) wines was presented in the Exhibitions Room of Mercamadrid's Administrative Centre, both to the generalist and specialised wine media, and to businessmen belonging to the wine sector.

The Presentation was arranged by the Regulating Council of D.O. La Mancha, sponsored by the Council of Albacete together with Fundación Mercamadrid.

The event was attended by the Chairman of the Regulating Council of D.O. La Mancha, Mr. Gregorio Martín-Zarco López-Villanueva, and by the Chairman of the Council of Albacete, Mr. Pedro Antonio Ruiz Santos. It enjoyed the participation of the journalist Pepe Cavero, who gave a speech entitled "The time for wine", and the promotional DVD of D.O. La Mancha wines was shown to present their new corporate image.

After the presentation to the media, a tasting was held of D.O. "La Mancha" wines which counted with the participation of 32 wineries from Albacete, Cuenca, Toledo and Ciudad Real, held at Hotel nH-Mercader, between 12:00 and 6:00 p.m., on the premises of Mercamadrid's Food Industrial Estate.
